- And other bacterial infections in the upper respiratory tract, lower respiratory tract, ENT, gastrointestinal, abdominal, skin, soft tissue, dental, and bone & joint areas.
For pediatric patients, the dosing guidelines are as follows:
- Mild to moderate infections:
- Children aged 7 to 12 years: Take 10 ml of the 457mg/5ml suspension twice daily.
- Children aged 2 to 6 years: Take 10 ml of the 228.5mg/5ml suspension twice daily or 5 ml of the 457mg/5ml suspension twice daily.
- Children aged 2 months to less than 2 years: Individualized dose based on body weight.
- Mild to moderate infections: 25 mg/kg daily.
- More serious infections: 45 mg/kg daily.
