Drug used for sexually transmitted infections and mixed vaginal infections, also recommended for male partners of infected subjects to prevent re-infection.
Cotozal TZ is a mixed infection medication. It comes in two variants:
- Cotozal-TZ Kit:
- Contains one Fluconazole 150 mg capsule and two Tinidazole 1000 mg tablets.
- Indicated for the treatment of mixed vaginal infections, including:
- Vaginal candidiasis
- Bacterial vaginosis
- Trichomoniasis
- Genital chlamydia infection
- Cervicitis
- Uncomplicated gonorrhea
- Also recommended for male partners of infected subjects to prevent re-infection.
- COTOZAL TZ PLUS Kit Tablet:
- A combination of:
- Fluconazole 150mg
- Tinidazole 2g
- Azithromycin 1g
- Indicated for the same mixed vaginal infections as mentioned above.
- A combination of:
Please note that Cotozal TZ and Cotozal TZ Plus are not birth control pills; they are specifically for treating infections.
